Dr. Katleen VanschandevijlDiplomate ECEIM
Katleen graduated from Ghent University in 1999. She worked for 10 years as assistant professor at the University of Ghent at the department of Large Animal Internal Medicine. Her special interest lies within equine neuropathology and muscle disorders. After research on vitamin E levels in horses she focused on spinal ataxia and cervical vertebra imaging in warmblood horses. Dr. Vanschandevijl is author and co-author of over 15 scientific articles. In 2009 she successfully passed the board examinations of the ECEIM (diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine).
